Dear Parents/Guardians,

Avon Cub Scouts is participating in the Funding Factory Recycling Program! This fundraiser is FREE and simple because there’s nothing to sell, no paperwork to fill out and no deadline. The program runs throughout the year, accumulating constant income for our efforts. But we won’t get very far without your support. Please donate your empty printer cartridges and used cell phones to our Avon Cub Scouts and we’ll take it from there! We will recycle the cartridges and cell phones to earn extra funding.

The used products are still valuable because they can be refilled or refurbished and reused!

Last year alone, more than 500 million cartridges were thrown away, while 30 million cell phones were tossed or replaced. We’re alleviating the volume of waste that goes into landfills, while earning the funding we need to keep our Avon Cub Scouts running smoothly. Your help is vital to our fundraising success. Cell phones and cartridges can be dropped off at any of the following locations:

Impact Technologies @ Lobby of 200 Canal View Blvd. Rochester
Geneseo Transfer Station @ 4952 Warner Rd. Geneseo
Fun Zone Family Entertainment Center @ 1250 Rt. 104 Ontario
Skateland Family Fun Center @ 70 S. Main St. Franklinville
Avon Redemption Center @ 99 West Main St. Avon
TOPS Friendly Markets @ 270 E. Main Avon
Avon Village Office @ 74 Genesee St. Avon

Funding Factory also offers a program for supporters. Your employer can help out our Avon Cub Scouts without spending a cent. Prepaid shipping boxes can be sent, free of charge, directly to any business, organization or other facility within the continental United States . Supporters simply need to load the boxes and leave them for the next UPS pickup.
