PINEWOOD DERBY RULES
Specifications:  Width - 2 3/4" 
                            Length - 7"
                            Weight - not OVER 5 oz.
                            Width between wheels - 1 3/4"  
                            Bottom clearance betwwen car and trck - 3/8"    
                                                                                 

* Wheel bearings, bushings and and washers are prohibited.
* Car shall not ride on springs.
* Only official Cub Scout Pinewood Derby wheels and axles 
   and body wood ( as provided in kit) are permitted.
* Only DRY lubricant is permitted.
* Car must be free-wheeling with no starting devices.
* Details such as steering wheel, driver etc. are permitted as long
   as they are within specifications above.
* Car should be made during the current Scouting year by the
   Scout (adult help allowed.)
* All 4 wheels of car must be touching track.
* Cars are surrendered at weigh-in/ registration.  Any
   adjustments to cars must be made prior to registration.
